Youth Advisory Group
The Youth Advisory Group (YAG) are a group of young people aged 14+ years that will support and advise on the direction taken and work carried out by New Lodge Arts. Group members are take part in various sessions to learn about the different roles and responsibilities of management committees, leadership skills, funding, budget management and much more. It is an opportunity for young people to demonstrate positive citizenship and be involved in decision making within New Lodge Arts. They are basically the young people's version of or Board of Directors.
Our current Youth Advisory Group are all aged between 16-18 years old. The current group have been actively involved (as part of New Lodge Arts Youth Advisory Group) for over a year now and have been doing an excellent job on their roles and directing the organisation.
