New Lodge Arts Christmas Panto Delights Audiences

This year, New Lodge Arts presented a fabulous production of "Snow White and the Black Forest Gateau," a delightful twist on the classic fairy tale, written by Maire Campbell and adapted by the talented Debra Hill.  From the 12th to the 14th of December at Boys Model School, this Panto provided a magical experience filled with laughter and joy.

North Belfast Lantern Festival

After a break in 2021, we were delighted to return with the North Belfast Lantern Festival based around the theme of Alice in Wonderland.  Over 30 groups took part in the outreach programme making fabulous lanterns and amazing installations. Over 5000 people from across the community attended the 2-day extravaganza which included family fun days and the main parade and event.  Participants came in costumes and with colourful lanterns in the longest-running Halloween Community Event in Belfast.

North Belfast Bicycle Parade

New Lodge Arts is very excited to announce the North Belfast Bicycle Parade happening on Thursday 17th & Friday 18th December – departing from Girdwood Community Hub at 6pm!

This moonlight cycle will travel approx 4 miles around North Belfast on beautifully lit up bicycles bringing some Christmas cheer to the area.

We have spaces for people to participate. If interested, please complete the online forms following this link. Bikes/helmets can be provided if need be.
